About this album
In addition to being a musician, I’m also a filmmaker, and as such I tend to pay attention to film scores. I feel an affinity to John Carpenter as someone who has made some historic films and also chooses to write and perform his own scores. There is really no separating the iconic score of Halloween from the eerie vibe of the movie itself.
So, I wanted to put an album together that honored John Carpenter, and this is it. It’s pretty creepy, and I hope you enjoy it.
Liner Notes
This album is a tribute to John Carpenter, whose musical style has been a big influence on my music, and my nightmares.
Composed and produced on an iPad. Apps used include Alchemy Mobile Synth, Egoist, SECTOR, Cubasis, Auria, AudioShare, AudioCopy, Wow Filterbox, FLUX:FX, Audio Mastering, and Korg Gadget. I'd like to thank the amazing developers of all of these apps for making this album possible.
