Wabi-Sabi-ness
On loving imperfectness and beginning in the middle

I thought about starting a podcast today, so I set up a new podcast in Substack and then went into my studio and recorded an hour and 20 minutes of crap that I will not be sharing with you, ever, and at least for now I will not, in fact, be starting a podcast, but hey I tried something new and thatโs what living the experimental art life is all aboutโฆ but, anyway, part of what I talked about was wabi-sabi, which is already part of my art and meaning-making process and something I want to contemplate more in the new year, and also (speaking of new and year) I spoke about the arbitrary delineations we impose upon the spectrum of time - and although you wonโt be hearing that now, just know Iโm trying to start down a path that Iโm already on and just wanted to talk about it a bit.
Also, happy holidays!
For the month of December (and maybe beyond that) Iโll be writing One Sentence Stories (OSS) to share little bits of myself. Theyโre 100% true and 110% run-on sentences. Thanks so much to Robin Taylor (he/him) for the amazing idea. Feel free to join in and tag me so I can read along!
My Latest Release
Experimental improvised guitar and electronics, wrapped in melancholy, angst, and gender fuzziness.
Thanks for reading!
