Helpful update. I'd maybe add some what/why re the Camera Connection Kit. It took me some digging to find out about it back a few years. Do they make the Kit for the newer USB-C-ported devices? I thought I read somewhere that they don't.
Yeah, I have 2 first gen iPad Pros, but I was maxing the processor out too often. I have Logic Pro on my 6th gen, but mostly for testing apps so far, since I don’t really use a traditional DAW workflow. AUM is really home for me.

Good to hear. Meanwhile I'm hanging on to my earphone-jacked dinosaur 2nd Gen iPad Pro as long as possible. No Logic Pro for iOS on it though.
